Get to Know Who You’ll Be Investing Your Time With

Here’s a little bit about me—but I’m even more excited to learn about you, your stories, and the adventures that make you unique.

  • Grease! I love that movie because I love the fifties and rock ‘n roll. This movie never get boring.

  • First of all, because I love photography. It’s like magic. It still is mind blowing to me that with photography, you can capture and preserve a moment in time. Another important reason is that I want to help people with providing them portraits that will be cherished for life. Photos are my most valuable possession. I realized this again when I had to clear out my mother’s apartment after she had passed away. I went through the photos and re-discovered photos I hadn’t seen for decades. It was like finding gold. It meant so much to me. But what I often see when someone passes, families often don’t have that one professional photographed, high resolution portrait of the person. I advise people to have good photos taken of yourself every several years. Not only to pass on to others, but to cherish them yourself. You deserve that beautiful studio portrait!

  • My biggest dream is that I want to help as many people and animals in my life as possible.

  • My biggest inspiration is life itself, people, nature, the city, the little things around me but also other artists.

  • When something is well made, creative, original, authentic, has vision and evokes emotions. Skills and craftmanship are important factors in art, I find. When someone masters a technique and the execution. And that you can see that someone has talent.

  • A world where there’s less power, destruction and control and more harmony, peace and beauty.

  • Someone who doesn’t appreciate, respect and values what I do.

  • My photography is created with love and care, tailored to each customers wishes but also full of surprises and magic. I don’t and cannot plan things too much ahead. But what I do, I do with lots of experience and my own unique vision. From start to finish.

  • Photos or nick nacks with a story that bring back memories. Also, anything 80’s! I miss the 80’s. As a Gen X-er, I wouldn’t mind going back to that era. Life was more connected and simpeler. We are living in a world now that is disconnected and very complicated.

  • One of wild elephants. I love elephants (my favourite animal) and I love Africa and wilderness. Elephants are highly intelligent and emotional creatures. Gentle giants who are just amazing to watch. It would be fantastic to photograph them in their natural habitat.

  • Funny animal videos or slapstick kind of humour. Especially British humour.

  • Animal cruelty. I just can’t believe we live in a world where animal cruelty exists. I really wonder, where this behaviour comes from. It’s something that is on my mind, almost daily. That’s why I want to donate as much as possible to charities who are there to rescue and protect animals

  • My partner and my dog Timmy!

  • That’s a very difficult question as I have lots of items that are treasures to me. For example, a letter that my mother wrote from my doggie Timmy’s perspective when he was a puppy. And of course, all my photos.

  • Any kind of destruction.

  • Celebrities.

  • That life was simpeler and carefree. I grew up in the 80’s. To me this was the best era ever. I’m proud to be a Gen-X member :-)

  • My biggest goal is self-realization and helping others as much as possible. We are here to serve others.

  • Like so many of us: scrolling on social media. It’s distracting me from those things that really matter in life.

  • Love yourself first, be kind and compassionate and turn off the tv and social media. There’s too much noise on there that distracts you from things that really matter. Connect with nature.Go play outside and create. We are all creators.

  • my office/atelier.

  • Watching a series or movie together with my partner and doggy Timmy. Walking in nature is also relaxing. It's there where I often find something interesting to photograph.
